These terms and conditions outline the agreement between Cherished Little Guests and our clients for childcare services.

Service Agreement

By booking our services, you agree to these terms and conditions. Cherished Little Guests provides professional childcare services for events, occasions, and in-home support.

Our services are available for children aged 0-13 years, with appropriate care tailored to each age group and individual needs.

Booking & Payment

Booking Process:

  • All bookings must be confirmed in writing via email or signed contract
  • A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to secure your booking
  • Full payment is due 7 days before the event date
  • Last-minute bookings (less than 48 hours) require full payment upfront

Payment Terms:

  • Payments can be made by bank transfer, card, or cash
  • Travel expenses may apply for locations over 20 miles from my location.
  • Additional charges may apply for special requirements or extended hours

Cancellation Policy

Client Cancellations:

  • More than 7 days notice: Full refund minus deposit
  • 7 days notice: 50% refund of total payment
  • Less than 48 hours notice: Full payment due
  • Same day cancellation: Full payment due

Our Cancellations:

  • In case of illness or emergency, we will provide alternative arrangements where possible
  • If we cannot provide a suitable replacement, full refund will be given
  • We are not liable for costs incurred due to our cancellation beyond the service fee

Child Safety & Welfare

Our Responsibilities:

  • All staff are DBS checked and trained in safeguarding
  • First aid trained personnel will be present at all times
  • Age-appropriate supervision ratios will be maintained
  • Any safeguarding concerns will be reported according to local procedures

Parent/Guardian Responsibilities:

  • Provide accurate information about children's needs, allergies, and medical conditions
  • Ensure children are in good health on the day of service
  • Inform us of any behavioural concerns or special requirements
  • Provide emergency contact details and consent forms

Liability & Insurance

Cherished Little Guests carries comprehensive public liability insurance and professional indemnity insurance.

Liability Limitations:

  • We are not liable for pre-existing medical conditions or injuries
  • Parents/guardians remain ultimately responsible for their children
  • We are not responsible for loss or damage to personal belongings
  • Our liability is limited to the value of the service contract

Any incidents will be recorded and reported to parents/guardians immediately.

Conduct & Expectations

Professional Standards:

  • We maintain professional boundaries and confidentiality at all times
  • All interactions are conducted with professionalism and respect
  • We respect family values and cultural requirements
  • Clear communication is maintained throughout the service

Unacceptable Behaviour:

  • Aggressive or threatening behaviour towards staff will result in immediate service termination
  • We reserve the right to refuse service or remove children exhibiting dangerous behaviour
  • Full payment remains due if service is terminated due to client conduct

Data Protection

We collect and process personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy and current data protection legislation.

Information collected is used solely for service delivery, safety, and legal compliance purposes.

Governing Law

These terms and conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the English courts.

If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force.

Changes to Terms:

We reserve the right to update these terms and conditions. Changes will be posted on our website and will apply to future bookings. Existing confirmed bookings will be honoured under the terms agreed at the time of booking.
